Chip McKibben is Genos Emotional Intelligence Certified to deliver the Genos Emotional Intelligence Program which is utilised by companies to assess and develop employee behaviour and performance in the areas of leadership, productivity, engagement, sales and customer service.

This cutting-edge program has been developed to maximise emotional self-awareness and thereby strengthen working relationships and productivity.

As a licensed Genos trainer, Chip McKibben is able to implement the program within your business and conduct follow-up training as needed.

Benefit

Typically, the Genos program is the first step in developing individual improvement plans. Clear pathways for development are put in place as the program uncovers ‘blind spots’ in individual capabilities. A 360 degree feedback approach allows participants to realise and overcome these ‘blind spots’, often for the first time in their careers.

Process

The process starts with a formal meeting in which all participants are stepped through the completion of an introductory workbook. Chip outlines an overview of the Genos program and explains the steps involved in gathering feedback and how participants can apply these development opportunities to their work or personal life.

The next step is for participants to complete an online self-assessment survey. Once all feedback surveys are completed, a debrief meeting is scheduled in an individual or group format (depending on the participants’ relationship with each other).

In the debrief meeting each participant is given a personalised Feedback Report and a Development Tips Workbook. Chip then goes through the report with each team member, making sure the results are understood. Participants are personally coached around their development tips and core strengths that need to be leveraged in the future.

Results

On completion of the Genos program participating companies find that they are better able to focus and prioritise their goals. Participants also comment that the heightened level of personal awareness that results from the feedback and coaching has a positive flow-on effect on employee engagement and performance.
