Emotional Intelligence, Sales Performance, Resilience Training. Chip McKibbenChip McKibben will improve individual and team performance through smart programs focused on emotional intelligence, personal resilience and team cohesiveness.

Chip combines his experience gained as an elite athlete with his corporate experience in both the USA and Australia to provide support for business managers and leaders functioning within a high performance environment.  His combination of skills helps to uncover a team’s intangible capabilities and turn them into core behaviours. This not only provides a blueprint for success, but it also establishes the key indicators for your team’s future performance.

Chip’s ten year career rowing for the USA brought him success in many different arenas such as Gold medals at major competitions, a world record, global travel and the dedicated life of a professional athlete. His greatest success story however came in the form of incremental strength in body and mind gained through this experience. These slight differences in behaviour and mindset are often not recognisable to the spectators or even the coach, but they are game changers for the athlete.

Chip commenced his corporate career in the USA as a business originator and underwriter for Warmington Homes before moving into realty finance with Belgravia Capital Corporation. This experience taught Chip the value of driving growth both strategically and creatively, with the vital financial aspects of accountability, risk management and reporting.

Following his career in realty finance in the USA, Chip moved to Australia in 2003 and pursued his passion in coaching and training, most recently as National Sales Manager for Lend Lease Retirement Living. Working with industry leaders in the Australian property sector, he delivered on a range of topics from collaborative sales skills, customer service and high performance team culture. Chip has a unique ability to coach an individual’s personal strengths in the pursuit of achieving personal or company objectives.

Chip holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at Berkeley and is a former World Champion Oarsman and 1992 USA Olympian. He resides on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland with his wife and two boys.
